Who I am

Not a real-life fairy, but always searching for the magic in mundane moments. I believe you have to romanticize your recovery — because without joy, it’s too easy to get swept back into diet culture.

Hi, I’m Brittany. I spent six months in residential treatment (so when I say I get it, I GET IT). After leaving treatment, I dedicated myself fully to recovery. What kept me afloat was the love and patience of my family and friends — even when they didn’t completely understand, they respected my boundaries. Recovery also brought me closer to my mom than ever before, and it gave me a voice for something bigger than myself. Advocacy became a cornerstone of my recovery, from volunteering locally to sharing my story at the federal level to fighting for equitable access to eating disorder treatment and research.

I believe eating disorders are not individual failings but systemic issues. And yes, I’ll happily scream fuck the patriarchy (as we all did at The Eras Tour) or call out how wellness culture is often dictated by people in positions of power who are far removed from our everyday experiences. Diets and the diet industry are marketed primarily toward women, yet more often than not, it’s men leading the charge and profiting. That doesn’t mean eating disorders discriminate by gender—they don’t. But it does mean we need to question whose voices we’re listening to, and who is getting rich from our pain. My philosophy is simple: all bodies are good bodies. Our bodies are smart—they tell us what we need—and recovery is possible.

Outside of coaching, I’m a Libra who loves tattoos, pink everything, reality TV, Taylor Swift, and my dog Eloise (and of course, my husband — maybe not in that order). I’m Nashville-based, always juggling too many projects—from a cupcake home bakery to a podcast with my mom, a Substack, and even a memoir—and I firmly believe in kitchen dance parties as medicine.

If you’re looking for recovery support that’s bold, honest, and rooted in lived experience — welcome. Wherever you are in your journey, this is a place for you.
